Commercial transparency

Some links may earn us a commission. The decision standard does not change.

ToolThesis may receive compensation when a reader clicks certain links and completes a qualifying purchase, trial or other action.

Plain-language disclosure

If you use an affiliate link on ToolThesis, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. You remain responsible for deciding whether the product is suitable.

1. Where disclosures appear

Pages containing affiliate links will carry a clear disclosure before or close to the first commercial link. We will use straightforward labels such as “Affiliate disclosure” or “Affiliate” rather than vague language.

2. Editorial independence

Commission rates do not determine which products are considered, how products are scored or the final recommendation. A product may be recommended without an affiliate relationship, and an affiliate product may receive a negative or conditional verdict.

3. How commissions work

When you follow an eligible link, the merchant or its affiliate platform may use a cookie or another attribution method. If you complete a qualifying action within the attribution period and the merchant approves it, ToolThesis may receive compensation.

4. No additional charge

Affiliate compensation ordinarily does not increase the price you pay. Merchants control their own pricing, discounts, eligibility, refunds, approval and contractual terms.

5. Prices and programme changes

Affiliate programmes, prices and product terms can change or end without notice. Always verify the final offer, renewal price, data terms and cancellation conditions on the merchant’s website.

6. Sponsorships

Paid sponsorship is different from affiliate monetisation. Sponsored content, if introduced, will be labelled prominently and will not be presented as independent editorial work.

7. Questions
